Sunday School
Sundays @9:45 am
Sunday School meets each Sunday starting at 9:45 downstairs in the Undercroft. We are actively learning about God through Bible stories, songs, drama, art, outreach projects, and fellowship.
Special times and seasons of the Church year are celebrated with special activities like our Christmas Pageant, Lenten Outreach Project and Easter celebration projects.
Rehearsals for the Christmas Pageant begin in late November. Children serve as readers, characters, and singers. There is something for everyone! Please contact the church for more information.
Of course we will be participating in our Parish outreach projects like Dinner for a Dollar, collecting food for the Hamden Food Bank, and Chapel on the Green.
The Faith study group meets once more before Lent – Grace and St. Peter’s has an ongoing Bible study called the Faith Study Group, moderated by Gretchen Pritchard. The group meets in parishioner’s homes, usually on two Tuesday evenings every month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Light refreshments are served.
Because of the weekly Lenten program on meditation, the Faith Study Group will be in recess during Lent, and will resume regular meetings after Easter.
The Faith Study Group is open at all times, to anyone who wishes to attend. There is no homework or outside reading involved, and no obligation to take a turn as host—some members’ houses are big enough, and some are not! All questions are welcome; there is nothing “too basic” or “too complicated.” To receive email reminders of Faith Study Group meetings, contact Gretchen Pritchard, or give your name and email address to the church office.
